To all the Dreamers...

Dreams have been etched across all of our hearts from the beginning of time.

And for a very special reason.

I believe God has given everyone passions, desires and dreams that are waiting to burst from inside of us. Maybe they have just been planted and still need to grow, but they are there.

Is there something that drives you to do courageous things? Is there a stirring in your heart to do something no one has thought of yet? Is there a passion deep in your soul that seems crazy, but you just can’t stop thinking about it? Whatever it is, wake up! I know that dream of yours is what God is going to use to help bring people closer to Him and make a difference in this world.

You matter. Your dreams matter.

Each dream and every passion you have is not there by chance or by accident. Even with all the doubt and the countless questions of “what if”, God is molding them for His marvelous and divine plan.

The truth is, we will never have all the answers. And that is okay.

The key is putting our trust and faith in the One who does hold all the answers.

There will never be another you to do the special task God has placed on your life. If you have the desire to be a nurse, God wants you to be the best nurse you can be. If you have the passion to live overseas doing missions, God wants you to go and live it out. And if God wants you to simply befriend a neighbour, do it in His name.

Just remember, if you are too busy trying to be someone else, who is going to be you?

Who will live out that amazing dream only you have?

I don’t know about you, but I want this life to count. I want my life to make a difference. And in everything, I want to reflect my glorious Creator.

You see, this life we are given is an amazing gift. Each and every day we have the chance to live it to the most, take the hard risks, make a leap of faith and set out on an adventure.

It is a daily choice. It is a daily commitment.

And it can be one of the best decisions you make.

Here are some key pointers that I hope can help you step out and put those dreams into action:

1. Believe in yourself. The only one who limits yourself is you.

2. Failure is never the end but a chance to start again and become stronger.

3. Be realistic. Your dreams, passions and goals will not happen overnight. It will take hard work, determination and focus.

4. Successful people initiate; they go for it despite the risk of failure or disappointment. So jump!

5. In everything you do, make sure it is glorifying Christ.

6. Never stop praying and seeking God for guidance, strength and wisdom. For with Him, you will become unshakable.

7. Always be open to God's leading. He is the one who opens and closes doors.

8. Never give up. Never push your dreams and goals aside. Never settle for less than what God offers you.

9. Have some fun with it! This life is meant to be enjoyed and lived to the most!

Instead of being afraid of getting it wrong, put your trust in the God who will show you the way. Instead of worrying about making mistakes, start praying to the One who holds your future. Instead of living with regret, step forward in faith. And instead of looking to the world for temporary happiness, surrender to the One who created it all.

I know it will be a glorious unfolding.

And God has more in store for you than you can even possibly imagine.

You and I are simply strings in God's grand masterpiece.

For nothing you do for Him is ever useless.

Just give it to God and then walk in it.

Be Empowered:

1 Corinthians 15:58:

"Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless."

Isaiah 55:8-9:
