A Little Note about Insecurity

Here's a little note about insecurity:

It's a liar.

It's a feeling that doesn't belong to us, but we take it captive in our minds. A close friend reminded me of the verse that commands us to "take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ" (2 Cor. 10:5).

We have the power to question every single thought that runs through our minds.

We forgot that God is our source of strength, wisdom and guidance. We are made in God's image, not the world's, but we still let the lie of insecurity rule our minds and dictate our life.

Insecurity is also a false security - there is no truth in it. Insecurity is depending upon temporal things that we have no right or ability to control. on the other hand, security in Christ is what we truly CRAVE. Security in Christ is setting our eyes on eternity, father then on earthly pleasures.

Security is remembering Christ's constant love for us and the truth that no one can ever take that away from us.

SO take CAPTIVE every thought and if it's a false security shake it off. Also. In this life. There's no such thing as possessing perfection. So let's stop chasing perfections and start running wild in the security of Christ.
